auto-UnManage devices feature?
NocNoc
I would like to be able to set a time where device can be unmanaged for however long. Unless I am missing something I do not see this feature.
Thanks.

From the NPM console, select node details on the item you want to unmanage and you will see a button that should do what you want.

I am aware of this feature but what if I am going out of town and need to set a time a few days later that I would like the node to be unmanaged? Anyhow, thanks for your post.

Do you want the node unmanaged or just the alerts suppressed?

He's asking for a way to schedule when a node goes to unmanaged. That's actually a very good feature request. I would be very useful for downtimes if you could schedule a group of nodes to go unmanaged when a scheduled downtime is occurring. I don't think there is an easy way of doing this. I think you're gio ng to have to write a script that modifies that parameter in the database for each of the nodes. But if you're just going away for the weekend why would you want to unmanage the nodes? It does sound like what you want is to disable alerts for a time period.
