Why isn't Storage Resource Monitor (SRM) included in SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted?

Hi everyone,

While exploring SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted, I noticed that Storage Resource Monitor (SRM) isn't included as one of the available modules. Is there a specific architectural or licensing reason for keeping SRM separate? Since many environments require end-to-end visibility across servers, networks, and storage, I'm curious why storage monitoring isn't part of the Self-Hosted platform.

Has anyone heard if SRM integration is planned for a future release, or is it expected to remain a standalone product?

SRM is integrated with SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted, but it remains a separately licensed module. SolarWinds has not publicly announced plans to make SRM a standard built-in component of the core Observability Self-Hosted license. Last year SolarWinds world tour in Bangalore they told they are working it.
