Anyone have anything to contribute or anything changed from SW on this topic...?thwack.solarwinds.com/.../serv-u-in-sql---are-there-solarwinds-monitoring-tools-adapted-to-mftp-logs
We may use Serv-U IP restrictions to enforce trusted partner/source ranges as of now. Serv-U's newer releases added more logging and event-related data points. Serv-U 15.5 added MFA support for database users and new MFA event types, and Serv-U 15.5.1 added a new "File share" logging category. However, all these activities of the users are logged into the logs of the Serv-U for users for now.
Thanks for the reply… Yes, understood, and known… The question, was not well enough expressed, is that SW has many monitoring tools, and asking if anyone has rolled them together w/SU to have effective monitoring, meaning ability to bubble up events to admins and/or email beyond the type of events built into SU, in other words more complex review; i.e unknow IP w/MFA or IP in the user profile range, but not used ever before and now suddenly used or an IP never used in the user's profile range; these are just examples that exceed the SU Events And wondering (re-asking…) if anyone has rolled another SW monitoring product w/SU for this type of advanced monitoring & visibility?
