Whether Solarwinds can able to fetch 40 k lines backups without any issue or any special setting we need enable to capture larger configs

Hi, there should not be any hard limits for that large config files to be downloaded. However, there might be performance issues when those files a viewed in the web browser, or compared with older versions of the files.

40,000 lines? If I had to guess I'd say Forticr*p?

I don't believe there is a maximum lines setting, there is a minimum though. I think it will eventually time out if a config download is idle, but if its still transferring I think you'll be ok.

I couldn't find a setting for it, but if it exists it would be under NCM settings, or maybe in the advanced settings. There is a "Max Lines" setting in advanced settings for NCM, but it refers to the max lines to display in search results, don't get distracted by that.
