Thermal Alert Setup

Question

Does anyone know how to or if you can setup an alert to monitor thermal temps on a computer? I have set up many alerts for drive space and interfaces but can not seem to find where or how to setup an alert that monitors the computers internal core temp. Any information would be very helpful.

Assuming temperature can be reported through SNMP, you'll need to create a Universal Device Poller (UnDP) for this. You can either browse through the manufacturer's MIB file or perform an SNMP walk to find the correct OID for this statistic.
