Monitoring Clustered EMC Isilons and IBM SVC Storage devices at Node level

Currently, we are using SRM 6.2.3 to monitor Clustered Isilons and SVC storage devices but only able to monitor the KPIs at an aggregate level.. We have a need to be able to monitor these same clustered storage devices at a node level.. Example: if a cluster device has 4 nodes within it, we would like to be able to alert on and monitor the KPIs associated to each node individually versus monitoring the aggregate of all 4 nodes collectively.. Please advise if this can be added in a future enhancement..

I mentioned this many many months ago and I enthusiastically second, third, forth and fifth that notion. With the old Storage Manager (STM) I'm able to see KPIs at the node level of an SVC including both front-end (hosts) and back-end (virtualized storage controllers) IO, Throughput and Latency.

Being able to monitor individual physical node KPIs is a hands down a necessity of any such monitoring tool.

Thank you for the feedback. It's really crucial for us to know that is missing in SRM Orion compared with the older STM. We plan to address the differences.

We are looking at all feature requests. However, I cannot tell you when/whether this enhancement becomes available.
