Need guidance for a SW admin newbie.

Question

The task of being an admin has fallen to me after the former admin was released from employment. I'd like to training on how to do this task right using modules that are always available.  Is there a roadmap of where to begin?

It really depends on the what the previous admin has done with Solarwinds and the state that of the Solarwinds integration into your environment. You just inherited a powerful toolset so it really depends what was done with and the state of the it.

I would recommend the following:

* Document your Solarwinds Infrastructure, you need to know what server underpin your Solarwinds Environment.
* Subscribe to and review the Solarwinds YouTube Channel
* Attend regular Solarwinds Academy webcast Community Events, Webcasts & Training
* Ask pointed questions to thwack community.
