Can a single device be monitored by multiple polling engines?

Question

Our network engineers are wondering if NPM can be utilized to troubleshoot routing issues.  Is it possible for a network core in Location A be attached to a poller in Location B and Location C?  If so, does the Orion interface provide any useful way to utilize this type of configuration?

You can have separate nodes [with the same IP address] on the three different pollers.

No, the NPM interface doesn't provide a useful way to know these are the same device (other than griping when you try to add them)
