I am looking for the option to save the command script jobs I'm making as a text file but I no longer see it in the latest release. Has this option been moved or removed?
Yes it looks like its not there in the Web console, it is still there in the NCM gui execute script etc. I have found that the results are stored in the
dbo.[TransferQueue] table - but only until it is cleared!
I would like to see the Audit table contain both the script that was sent and the script results, at the moment it just saves the results as completed etc.
If the Audit table contained all the results for all scripts and easily accessible via the Node Details page in NCM web console then I would be very very happy!
Do you happen to know the frequency at which that table is cleared?
no , but when i have run 250+ remediation scripts for policy violtaions, i clear the table so I can easily see which ones have failed. Maybe SW can let us know? but it is still a shame that the results can be added to the Audit table - maybe this coule be taken forward SW?
