Jose Beltre, care to add a little more context for this?

Are you referring to just the image (usually stored in the application folder that could be copied before making any changes) or for example after the map has been populated with icons etc.

The final map with icons, labels ...

The map is kept in the database so if your database is backed up, you should have your maps backed up also.

Alternatively, you could open up each map in Network Atlas and use Save As to save it locally, and then backup those files.
