Advanced Alert Message Variables/Macros
craig999
Hi,
I have been trying to write some messages to be sent out when using advanced alerts. I have noticed that most of the variables that are used on the Basic alerts do not work with Advanced Alerts. - Can anyone confim this? Or any I doing something wrong?
Ie: ${TriggeredValue} , ${LastChange}, ${LongLastResetTime}
Also, does anyone have any examples of messages they use with variable/macro examples?
And Macros such as
AdminStatus
OperStatus
Report a decimal value, is it possible to change this to a text value?
IE: ${AdminStatus} reports 1 or 2 or 0. Is it possible to have it report Up / Down etc?
Thanks

Hello,
I've notice some inconsistency with the macros as well.
${SysName} does not work for Advanced Alerts
${VolumeSpaceUsed} – volume space is displayed as GB with basic alert but with advanced alert it is shown as Bytes.
Is this a known bug with advanced alert?

I've asked support to publish the variables or give us a link to them. Right now my advance alerts are not working as they should.
I also have a ticket open with support but haven't heard from them.
