Suggest adding a shortcut to your friends when you click on your name in the top right of the screen and get the drop-down for your profile. This would allow one click to access your friends to see what they posted and what activity they have.
I think this is a good idea. Nice suggestion I would like to be able to see my friends from the shortest path possible.
