I have CatTools set to email reports and etc. When I click the test email button in the interface I receive a test email ok, but actual emailed reports or information never arrives. Where do I start looking?

Can you please mention here what kind of error you are hetting. You can check it info log.
And also please check the folder 'MailQueue' that is there any mail and reply me.

I have the same issue. When I test the email I receive one that says it is a test email. When the activity runs it detect the changes and create the forms and even goes under the mail tab. It leaves the mail tab as if it is sent. However I never receive them. I disabled the firewall and while the test comes through the actual reports does not.
I realize that this post is a bit old but if you have a solution please let me know.

Thanx for the reply. I figured it out. It seems like if you use an email from gmail it sends the test email, because there is no attachment on it. As soon as the attachment gets added google blocks it and ends up dropping the mail. I used an email from my local domain and it fixed the problem.
Maybe you can investicate and if it proofs true maybe add it in the documentation. (It might be true for all Email SP's like hotmail yahoo etc, only tested with gmail)
