can we have upgraded mail action in the alert?

can we have upgraded mail action in the alert? ex: the alert should send the mail notifications to the individual teams who are responsible for the server, instead of creating multiple alerts for the different teams for the same objective.

I think this is available by configuring custom properties with Owners, Teams, mailto fields of a node.

Just to clarify, consider a node down alert, this alert will monitor all teams' servers, so if we add a mail trigger action, the notifications will be delivered to the teams which we have mentioned in the action even though the servers which the teams are not responsible for. So, apart from this you are telling that we can send the mail notification to individual teams according to the down server for the same alert? If yes, I'm glad to here the design or the configurations steps.

Hi Devaraju,

To deliver node down alert to different recipients we can do following:

Configure nodes with custom properties with "MailTo". Here we can put different values as who responsible for servers. For example server A belongs to Development team put their email such as development@....com at MailTo field. Same as above put different mail address for Server B.
Alert configuration: in "Trigger actions" section of your node down conditioned alert, put ${MailTo} in "To" field of "send an email/page".
You can test it with Simulate buttons on Trigger Action page of your alert.
