How to: Alert when supervisor fails on a Cisco Catalyst xxx

Is it possible to setup an alert for when the supervisor fails-over to the Secondary Supervisor on a Cisco Catalyst xxx???

Needing to get this completed ASAP...

IMO, there are 2 possible methods.

1. If you have the OID on the device that reflects the status of the fail-over, you can poll it via Universal Device Poller: www.solarwinds.com/.../index.html

2. Alternatively, you can set SNMP Traps to be sent to NPM. You will need to know which is the Trap that you should look out for, and what is the value that the Trap will hold when a fail-over takes place.
