Are there any plans to provide for the automatic updating of maps in Orion in the future? As far as I can tell, maps must be edited manually and there is no way to have maps automatically reflect changes to monitored elements.
what kind of changes - infrastructure/hardware/IP. I assume you know about macros right?
can you give a specific example of what you are looking for?
Yes, I understand that macros can be used to update information in the database about nodes already on a map, but I am interested in a way to update maps as to which elements are actually on a map.
Groups can be defined and updated using a dynamic query now. How long before maps can be updated in the same fashion?
