We are simply unable to upgrade to EOC 2.0 until this feature has been added like it is currently in EOC 1.6
I know there is an new AppStack Environment resource, but that is not currently working and was confirmed by Solarwinds Support.
neil_colyn Thanks for the suggestion. I am curious if you considered any of these options... You can create a "Status Tile" for the Enterprise Summary Dashboard that has Applications by Status.
Unfortunately for now, these tiles cannot be added to other pages. You may see this changing in the near future . AppStack resources will not currently provide info within EOC, but to get a resource similar to the image you posted, you could certainly create a custom table to provide that same info.
Thanks for the suggestion!
The problem with the first image is it doesn't show "what" application is in a critical or down status.
The second image you mentioned by creating a custom table is what we looking for! How would we go about creating the custom table as you have shown?
neil_colyn - Correct the Tiles are meant to allow the user to see status and drill in to see what applications are in that status in a pre-filtered view. To create the table, you would simply use the Custom Table resource. I went through a number of examples in this thread. UNDERSTANDING CHANGES IN EOC 2.0 - CREATING GLOBAL TOP XX RESOURCES
Here is the exact setup for this example:
Thanks for the detailed explanation! So I managed to get the table created, but is there a way to filter/show applications that's only DOWN?
If you needed that, then you wouldn't have to necessarily do anything other than filter the data source in which the table is derived from.
