Cisco CSS running SSH and Kiwi CatTools - Issues with login

Question

Hi,

We have Kiwi CatTools v3.6.0 which backup up a number of Cisco devices no problems - except our CSS's.

The CSS's are running 8.20 and are licensed for SSH. The interactive login sequence is as follows:

login as: test

User Access Verification

Username:test
 Password:

test#

Is there a way to configure Kiwi to pass through the username twice before the password (as per the login example above)?

I've checked with the Cisco Support Forums which suggests that this is normal behavior for a CSS running SSH.

Any pointers will be helpful.

I have to admit that I spotted the post by James about an hour ago. I have forwarded the information to my colleague who looks after the Cat Tools installation. I've not seen it myself to be honest, so I don't know how different 3.4 and 3.6 are. I'm hoping there's not much difference.

This sounds very similar to some configurations on the Cisco Wireless LANS.

Take a look t the following case and the comments made by f235124 (James) to see if this helps get you running with your CSS.
