install NPM & NCM with no internet

Hello fellow Thwackers.

(haha)

I am tasked with installing NPM and NCM on a machine that has no independent internet access.... SneakerNet is all I gots.

I have already attempted to install 'as is' and the install process, as you prob know, immediately 'stopped' while complaining about needing access to the internet.

It apparently needs the InterWebs to download any updates as well as stuff like .Net version [whatever].

Can someone point me to a fairly up-to-date HOW-TO that will lead me through my weird and winding path to absolute SolarWinds installation success...?

Pretty pllleeeeese???!?    I'm working with the latest dope, NCM v7.3.1 and NPM v11.0

On a system that has internet, you'd need to download the .net standalone installers.  Here is a link to .net 4.

Hi mh,

I am not aware of any limitation related to internet access. My NPM and NCM can be installed on detached machine and are fully operable. Which product throws the error? Are all the prerequisites fulfilled on the machine? What does "as is" mean?
