TCP PORT monitoring behind IP addresses

We have numerous CICS applications on our mainframe and they exist as TCP PORTs behind a half-dozen IP addresses.
What is the best way to create and monitor/poll these TCP PORTS and also use Map Maker to place them on a mainframe map with labels by application names?

I could be wrong but I don't think Orion provides any monitoring facility for ports at the moment. It's something we really want. We have many streams, web services etc that we want to poll.
