Hi, I would like to receive an email notification when the number of 'Current Connections' to a website goes above 100, I am using the AppInsignt for IIS Application monitor to monitor the web server. Do I need to add some 'statistic data threshold' to the app monitor and how would I configure the alert?

You're looking in the wrong corner! :)

Unfortunately, there is no out-of-the-box alert for what you're trying to do, but creating one is easy.

On top of the screen, go to Alerts & Activity, Manage Alerts, and Add New Alert. Add the desired name and move on. 
Now, in the "I want to alert on" box, choose AppInsight for IIS: Site.
A little lower, pull down "None yet" and choose "Browse all fields. " Find Current Connections, select it, and make it "greater than" 99.

That's it; follow the wizard, add your email, etc.

@lancasterb That looks correct.

Sometimes when an alert has triggered and you go in afterwards and change the alert rule trigger condition, an existing alert might not reset. Then you have to clear the alert. Can that be the case?
