Custom MIB Poller not showing data using correct type 8.0.2 Hotfix1

Question

I'm having a problem getting OID configured for the proper type to show any data

for example OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.19.1.1.8 type is counter32 if i set this to type counter, none I get no data but if I set it to rate, none the proper data shows up??? This is happening for other OID

Running : 8.0.2 hotfix 1

Windows 2000 AS, 4gig

Ah HA!

Same problem I'm having, and as of yet SW hasn't fessed up to there being a problem!

I've tried LOTS of different OIDs including catalyst 6500 temperature, active DS0 sessions on a as5300, and active sessions on a 3030 Concentrator, all of which test out OK, but none give me good data when I actually setup the poller. For instance I know that I have 102 active VPN tunnels on my 3030, when I run the test it shows 102 tunnels, but when I activate it I'll get data like "8.481489434123462342693" or  ".43457834589738934" or maybe some zeros. I get this exact same behavior no matter what OID I set.

So I opened a ticket the other week (7243 if you care to reference it) and have been going back and forth with support, but haven't made any headway. In fact I'm waiting to hear something back since I emailed them yesterday. Now that I know others are having the same problem I know that it's probably not me..

Open a ticket and refer to mine, maybe that'll help support in addressing this issue..
