I'm creating a report to monitoring DNS server and I already have these option but I need add the total number of DNS requests

can someone help with this problem?

How are you tracking the total number of requests? Are you using Server & Application Monitor?

Because you want to monitor on a specific metric (Component) that's part of an SAM Template (Application), you'll need to change the 'focus' of your report to the Component in question, then "step up" to the Node (Component --> Application --> Node) for Node Details.

Here's my take on it. I didn't see a "Total Queries" metric (on the out of the box Windows DNS Template), so I used Total Rec'd/Responded per second, but it should give you a good framework from which you can tweak.

Thanks for the answer but now I have a dut, when changing to "component" how can I limit by node name? because recreating the report on another machine I don't have results.

To filter it, you'll need to tweak the filter on the data source to an advanced type:

I was always getting the same results but after your answer I went to investigate further and the problem seems to be related to permissions on the other DNS servers.

Another question if you can help me, I added a graphic to my report but I can't get anything interesting, do you think there is something graphically interesting to add to this report?
