Main/Additional Poller Rebuild 2019.4 to 2020.2.x

Hello Everyone,

Due to the current issue we're facing, we're considering a path for a resolution when 2020.2.1 HF2 is released.

Right now the Primary/Additional Pollers (2019.4 HF 4) and the DB is on it's own DMZ and are powered down.

We are considering reconstructing all pollers with the same DNS and IP as the old pollers.

The question is, when we get the 2020.2.1 HF2 update, can we straight up power up the DB, then install the update (2020.2.1 HF2) on the new constructed Pollers to update from scratch and have it connect to the DB (which has records of the pollers being 2019.4)?

@allen The recommendation would be to follow the procedures outlined in Migration Guidelines.
