Monitor Status is unknown

I just updated the WPM from RC1 to RC2 but my monitors have a status of unknown and a grey icon, any ideas how I can get this working again.

Is there an error message at all when you're on the component's view? this has usually been permissions issue for me.

are all of your monitors on the same polling engine?

Maybe try this:

1. RDP to your Orion polling engine
2. Open up Orion Service Manager
3. Click Shutdown Everything. Wait until everything is in a stopped state excluding dependencies.
4. Open Programs & Features.
5. Uninstall SolarWinds JobEngine v2
6. Uninstall SolarWinds Collector
7. Go to C:\Programdata\SolarWinds\Installers
8. Run JobEngine.v2.msi (latest Orion version, filename: JOBENGINE-2.14.0.1972-JobEngine.v2)
9. Run CollectorInstaller.msi (latest Orion version, filename: COLLECTOR-2.16.0.2803-CollectorInstaller)
10. Go back to Orion Service Manager and click Start Everything.
