event id 10009 - DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer x.x.x.x using any of the configured protocols in NPM , any know resolved it? have fix?

I too have had this issue since installing APM and removing it several versions ago. I am told by support that this is a Windows issue. I have followed the stopping and re-starting of RPC with only a temporary break in the DCOM errors. If anyone has successfully corrected this, please chime in.
We are having the same issue running NPM 10.7 / NCM 7.3. The IP address in question isn't even a monitored node in NPM.
I see these too but only when a node actually is down. Orion platform 2014.1.0, SAM 6.1.1 on WS2008r2.
The polling interval is 2 minutes yet somehow I am getting 30 of these events in the four minutes the node is down, amounting to about 8 per minute. Strange.
Having this issue... again... after upgrading to 11.01 this morning. None of the nodes listed even exists when I search for them in Manage Nodes!

We made that change over 4 months ago. It hasn't fixed the problem.
It seems you may be experiencing a new issue in that case. Have you opened a support case yet? I'd be happy to track it down if you have the ticket number.
Original ticket was 640090. New case is 710716.
Looks like 640090 was solved long ago. I'll keep tabs on 710716!
I think perhaps "solved" is not the right word, since the problem exists again with the exact same symptoms.
Perhaps "solved" was overly positive. What I meant was that case is closed because action was taken and the problem was no longer occurring based on that action, though I understand it has reoccurred so the root problem remains.
