Is it possible in 8.5 to put all nodes into unmanaged from a certain time to a certain time? I see how to do each individual one.

This is not possible in 8.5, but it's something we plan to add.

Under a particular node, sometime a WAN connection via Serial or Ethernet or even and edge switch may be offline for maintenance planned or otherwise.

Are SW considering the option to put a particular interface from a node on maintenance mode? A router can have multiple ISP's in any one router and the maintenance times are of course going to be different.

I believe what you're asking for is the ability to unmanage interfaces. I've requested this very feature in the Orion feature requests located here...

Any chance for "on the list" for 9.0 SP3? I would add that the ability to unmanage devices *and* groups of devices would be a huge benefit.

Also, the ability to unmanage a device/interface/group *indefinitely* would be helpful.

Service packs are intended for bugs, not features, so it's not going to be in SP3, if there is an SP3. I consider it in the mix for every NPM release, but so far, it hasn't crossed the bar for getting done, but that's only because we did other major features (e.g., UnDP).

I can understand/appreciate that.

With that said, it would be a huge boon to us in our (as yet unrealized) migration from a competitor's product to Orion.
