how to pick IP cirrus uses on dual IP'd machine

hello all, i have cirrus 3.5 installed and backing up configuration files.  recent the IP address of the server was changed, which consequently broke all config d/ling due to the fact that the SNMP communities are ACL'd to one specific host.  I added the OLD IP back to the machine as an additional IP address.  I would like to be able to foce Cirrus to use this secondary IP address to collect all the configurations instead of having to drill through 100 or so network devices and update an ACL.

I don't know of any way to do what you're asking, but you might consider temporarily changing the primary IP address back to the old one, then use NCM to automatically update your ACLs for you.

I would like NCM to use a certain IP when it is connecting to devices to download configurations, etc.

If you want the NCM website to use that IP address, then run the NCM configuration wizard for 'Website' only. Then assign the IP Address in the Website Settings screen.
