Anyone using Eminentware to update their Adobe Acrobat products?
I am going to being creating packages and would like to know if anyone already "been there, done that"
Thanks again.

Hi Patrick,
Yes, others have used EminentWare to update Adobe Acrobat products. We include pre-built packages for Acrobat 9.x as part of our 3rd Party Updates Pack. A complete list of available packages is here:
https://www.eminentware.com/cs2008/media/p/719.aspx
Adobe does also have an Acrobat 10.x catalog available; it is available here:

Thanks Kelly. I am very excited to learn of the Adobe Acrobat 9 updates.
I am specifically looking for Acrobat 7.0 products, in particular Adobe Acrobat 7.1.0 cumulative, 7.1.3 and 7.1.4
I was able to create those packages using the .msp files for all three Adobe Acrobat updates and it works like a charm.
At least my boss is happy.
I did get a small error message about signed applications when publishing the Adobe Acrobat 7.1.0 cumulative but it does seem to install on systems anyway.
Is there a reason that their 10.x versions aren't in the 3rd party pack? Win7 kind of wants us to install the latest and greatest...
I downloaded the Adobe 10 catalog and that seemed to work fine importing into Emientware. I think Adobe made the catalog available for products similar to Eminentware like SCCUP(sic) and such. Just my 2 cents.
It seems that the prerequsite rules aren't populated, just the Processor Arch are listed... not the MSI rules and such.
Although to be fair it isn't too difficult to fix that detail... Just curious why the new stuff isn't there but the updates for the versions that carve PDFs into stone tablets are.
Greetings,
Adobe has a 10.x update catalog available, you just need to run the EminentWare Update Configuration Wizard (again) to synch, since we've added it (obviously) since the last time you ran that wizard.

I've manually imported and synced, ran the emm sync etc.
The package is present, but there are no rules for them
Hello again,
MSP packages have their APP and INSTALLED rule sets built in, and thus do not appear in the package for editing.
