Cisco WAP4410N AP

Does anyone know if I should be able to view wireless clients on this device? It does show as an access point under the wireless tab but unlike our Cisco AIR 1130, no clients are listed. Running version 9.5.1

Did you get anywhere with the Cisco WAP4410N pulling through the SSID's and Client?

I found Jerry's old case in our support logs. The first fix was to upgrade to 10.0 SP1. If that doesn't fix it, Support gives further instructions, but unfortunately, Jerry did not report back with his final status so I don't know if they will work for you.

What version of NPM are you running?

Never got anywhere with the 4410s. Our Cisco AIR AP 1130 shows SSID's and connected MACs. Great information. I can't get the 4410 units to show this. I did the upgrades as suggested but it didn't make a difference.

It would be good to get this working as the information would be incredibly useful. Sure I read somewhere that this should work with any thick wireless access points that support the 802.11 MIB, interestingly the Netgear ones (WG102, WG102, WNDAP350) we've also got out and about don't show this information even though they appear to support the 802.11 MIB.

Was this ever resolved? I have the same problem.

I have version 2012.2.2 and it shows that the WAP4410n constantly rebooting. It isn't at a constant interval, just random events.

The WAP has not rebooted as I was connected with my laptop and using it during some of the reboot times reported by Solarwinds.

From Solarwinds I cannot see any wireless clients that are connected to the WAP either. I think this is a fault of the WAP as it takes long for the WAP to report on clients from the web management page. See here for how to see clients from the WAP:

I would connect my laptop to the WAP and browse the network, but my laptop's WiFi MAC address only displays in the WAP's wireless clients list after ~ 15 min.

Is this a mib issue? or is it just a bad (latest v2.0.6.1) firmware on the access point.

It happens for my APC devices - In-Row Air coolers, PDU and UPS's

Can this be mib related?
