Most of you probably already have this, however, here is a good lookup page for Cisco’s MIB’s: http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/servlet/index
Cool resource thanks!
Thanks for that link. I downloaded the MIB for a Cisco 4404 Wireless LAN Controller. When I extract the files the have an extension of .my
How do I get the .my files into the Custom Device Poller or am I going about it the wrong way?
Thanks
Here is a link for "raw" access to all of the mibs available:
ftp.cisco.com/.../
Thanks, but I guess my original question is how do you import the mibs with the extenions of .my into Custom Device Poller? It doesn't seem to understand the file when I point it to a .my MIB file.
Hello,
You need to open a ticket to SolarWinds, ask them to add the file into the MIB.cfg file.
Orion looks only this file in order to clarify OID polled.

is there no process of users to do this? seems a waste of resources to have to open a ticket to get a MIB added to the system.
I too have the Cisco controllers (both the 4402 and wisms) as well as a few other non-standard devices/mibs that I would like imported. Would be great if there was a FAQ on the matter.
what dclick said, + eleventy billion.

Actually, we are already working on a FAQ for Thwack. Your suggestion is noted!
definitively that would be great not to have to open a ticket to add a mib to NPM !
