Report VMs with bad tools

Is it possible to write a report on VMs with bad tools. Like seen on the alerts page.

I would like to have a weekly report in excel format that we can get in our email to keep track of the older versions that are installed.

Yep, "VMs with Bad Tools" under Reporting in your Orion Console. You can also do it if you are using VMAN.

I don't have those reports. I am still on version NPM 11.5 upgrading soon to 12. Is that how you have those reports? Or can i download them from somewhere?

Yes, I am on version 12. Are you using Solarwinds VMAN?

We do have VMAN. Would you be able to export the reports and post them here for me to download and import?

They are canned reports in version 6.3.1. You can find them under "Reporting" and searching for "tools".

OK i searched the forums before posting and didn't find any reference to this type of report

integrated "VMs with Bad Tools" alert shows powered off VMs too ; the only way to correct that is to disable this alert and create my own ?
