IPv6 Support?

Is IPv6 support currently on the roadmap, if so what is the expected date for release?

Sorry to respond to such an old thread, but I would like to voice my concern about getting Orion and Cirrus IPv6 capable.  There is a mandate that by mid-2008, U.S. government agencies are to have their backbones fully IPv6 capable.  As a service provider, we are joining in the push to generate IPv6 interest, so we need our tools to be v6-capable.  Even MS turned on IPv6 by default on Windows Vista.  Let's put this on the roadmap - it can't be terribly difficult.

Heh clerum,

You must be one of those silly wireless/cell providers or an IP Telephony carrier.  I have a friend who is working for a national IP Voice/Telephony provider.  He said they were beginning to roll out IPv6 to support CPE devices.

Orion should support v6.  It isn't all that terribly difficult to implement.  We have played with it a bit in several of our labs (mostly for amusement) and found the features to be almost worth the pain of rolling it out to the production network.

Anyway, I hope the development gods at SW hear your plea for help and give you a little love.
