Feature Request: FC HBA Monitoring

I would like to see Fibre Channel HBA's show up automatically in the Resources to monitor when a server is added to Orion. I would at least like to see similar statistics from the server HBAs that we get from NICs.

I'm currently running several QLogic hba's and would like to see IOPS (I/O's per second) data as well as throughput (like on the nics). Maybe even error information (ie: discarded frames) would be useful.

I've run into a need for this as well. It would be great if you could see Qlogic FC HBAs in the list resources just like a nic. My main need at the moment is throughput and up/down status. It would be great if it was available for ESX servers as well as SAN attached windows servers.

I can't seem to find a way to do this and can't find any currect threads on thwack about this. Has this been implemented or on the road map to be added?

So not sure if you saw, but we recently acquired a company called Tek-Tools which does Storage monitoring including Fiber Channel switches.
