Advanced Alert Escalation
tom-g
I am trying to have an alert email me when a node goes down right away, and then send another email 5 or 10 minutes later to the next person. Can this be done in one rule? I have it set up but am never getting the delayed message.

Add a new action to the alert sending the email to the next person. On the alert escalation tab, choose delay the execution of this action for however long you want. You can use the 'do no execute this action if the alert has been acknowledged' box to not send the 2nd email if the first person has acknoweledged the alert and is already taking care of it.

I guess just check all the settings. I have this setup, and it definitely works.
