My Orion sent out a lot of false alerts yesterday afternoon. for example, it alerted all nodes down and no responds and reset soon.
actually, all nodes runs well and everything is ok.
who can help me about this?
thank you.
maybe it was the poller that lost connection?!?
If the poller loses connection, all servers would appear as down for it.
Hi Eric--
Try stopping and restarting the services from the Orion Service Manager (Start>All Programs->SolarWinds Orion>Advanced Features>Orion Service Manager).
Let me know if that works for you.

Hi Marie,
Thanks for your answer. all the alerts reset soon when they were sent out. and now the Orion works well as before. should I still restart the service?
If it's working now, there's no need to but if you run into the problem again, I'd try restarting.
HTH,
Would you mind telling me how to find the root cause of this?
Thanks,
Eric
Eric,
You might also check your logs in the next hop device (switch or router) from your Orion server.
I could see where a route change (or ARP issue) could generate this rather than the fault be your Orion server.
Good Luck!
Larry's right about checking your logs just to rule that potential issue out.
