The new web-based Manage Alerts is pretty intuitive for the most part, but I got stuck on how to use Escalation options. In the screenshots, I can't tell which of two levels the delay timer will apply to. Any help is appreciated.
OK, I think I see that the Escalation applies as a wait between the Level 1 and the Level 2 (or beyond) Levels. But, if this is so, I don't see where we can still delay the initial Trigger Action as in previous versions. Am I missing it?
Anyone, please?
The delay you show in your screenshot is configured on the trigger critera page, where you select the alert scope, not on the trigger actions page.
The first screenshot clearly indicates that it is on the Trigger Actions page. So, my original question still stands. Thanks.
your highlighting in your first post is the delay between the first escalation & the next.
your highlighting & request in the second post for the initial delay is on the trigger condition NOT trigger action

tthanks for the screenshot Zack
OK, that's where I would have expected to see that feature. But, as you can see from this pic, that little gem is missing from my Trigger Condition page:
Strangely, when I refresh the page, I see the feature appear briefly, but it has disappeared by the time the page fully loads. Should I run Config Wizard or run a repair installation?
Config Wizard would be my first choice. If you still see the issue after that, try and create a brand new alert to see if it's isolated. If the issue still persists, I would open a ticket.
