Can anyone get the Catalyst Card Inventory to work with a Cisco 65XX switch running IOS? I have it working on a switch with CatOS but it's not working on switches running IOS.

Bryan,
Do you know which MIB on the 65xx switch running IOS includes the card serial number information? It looks like this specific device does not support Cisco's standard MIBs for card serial number information.

I did a MIB walk for a C6513 running IOS. I was able to locate the SN of a line card in the MIB:ENTITY-MIB 1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.11.11000 entPhysicalSerialNum.11000 SAL1035ZWTV
SAL1035ZWTV is the SN of a line card in this chassis. I can mail you the whole MIB walk if needed. Let me know.BB
Thanks for the update. You should be able to pull the that MIB with the Physical Entities Report. Cisco pulls card serial numbers from either the ENTITY-MIB, CISCO-STACK-MIB, or OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB based off of whether the device has Cat OS or IOS and based off the IOS version. Currently, Cirrus has 1 report for each MIB, Physical Entities, Cisco Catalyst Cards, and Cisco Cards. In the next release of Cirrus, we plan to combine the 3 reports into one so all the card serial numbers will be in one report.
