Custom Properties on External Nodes are not displayed

I noticed that the Custom Properties resource is not displayed on External Nodes, is this by design or is this a bug?

I always prefer to see that it's a known bug versus something "unique" with my system. = )

Was this ever addressed? I just added our first External Nodes, and the custom properties still don't display.

I also just created an external node and cannot get custom properties to display.

Looks like this bug is still not yet fixed, I also see it in my NPM 12.0 + SAM 6.2.4 environment.

A workaround is to :

Edit the Node Details view

Add a 'custom table' resource to this view, hit SUBMIT.

Configure the Custom table resource by clicking either the EDIT button or the CONFIGURE THIS RESOURCE link.

Keep the check mark on 'Use current network object as Data Source' and click ADD COLUMN

In the Add Column dialog box, on its left hand side click NODES CUSTOM PROPERTIES. Put check marks on each custom property you want to show up, click ADD COLUMN button.

Finally once brought back to the EDIT RESOURCE : CUSTOM TABLE page, hit SUBMIT.

You should be returned to the Node Details page.

See if the Custom table resource is able to show you your custom properties.

**NOTE: This will list everything horizontally.**
