Unknown Error Message NPM 9.x

Question

Gentlemen,

Around the 13th of this month our SolarWinds database became corrupted and unusable.  One of our senior DBA's spent a few days recovering the data and we have moved the DB to a new server to offload processing from the application server.  When I ran the configuration wizard to point NPM to the new database server I recived an error message that I cannot decode.

"Database configuration failed:
        • Exception while configuring plugin Orion Network Performance Monitor component Orion Network Performance Monitor Database. Exception from HRESULT: 0x80041340"

Extensive searching @ Microsoft has not yielded any useful clues as to the origin of this message.   Any assistance would be warmly regarded.

It looks like the DB was corrupted possibly. Have you tried recovering from a known good backup or perform DBCC CHECKDB ? msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa258278(SQL.80).aspx

Strange. I recommend you open a ticket with support for this.

It's funny. I did open a support call and I was told that I needed to consult a DBA or Microsoft....  and I quote  "As this issue is with the database, there isn't going to be much more we can do. ".

I am more than a little frustrated as you might imagine...
