In Interface Details there is "Last Status Change." Could someone explain what that means? Thanks very much.
This tells when the interface was last changed from its current status. So if the status is currently Up, and the last status change is 1/15/2012 the interface has been in the Up state since this date, where it could have been in a warning state due to packet loss or an administratively down state.
Can this status change be used to detect interface flapping?
I'm looking at this very issue right now. Any technique for finding flapping interfaces?
Something like this?
[VIDEO] Monitoring Network Routes Using SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
Sorry for missing this post. Our SolarWinds NPM 11.5.2 does not have the Top 10 Flapping Tunnels.
We would really like to have this. How can we load this up?
