NCM - how do I backup a node via intermidient device ?

Hi,

I have some switches that in order to login to them, it is needed to login to a different device before.

in Kiwi it was quite simple - there was a "Connect Via".

How do I do it with NCM ?

I'm also curious about this what about devices connected through terminal servers (Cyclades) as well? I'm sure someone has done this somehow before. Can NCM do something like this?

I think someone needs to do a feature request for this. I'm not really if it is still on the radar. I know that it has been asked for before. NCM and Accessing Devices through Terminal Servers

Just FYI, I passed this along to the inimitable Dez‌ and she's pretty sure NCM *can* do this - NCM supports TACACS and other "in the middle" systems. Look for more info coming soon.

Well, I'm pretty sure NCM *cannot* do this -- it's a feature request and NCM engineering team confirmed that.

Yes especially since many do set it up this way and... to make matters worse... Kiwi used to do this o.O We are now in the process of replacing kiwi with NCM and this isn't the be all end all but it is a problem of sorts.
