Universal Poller Web Display Results Help?

I've just started working with the universal poller, in this instance I'm pulling from data from APC UPS's which I want to display on the web interface. One example is that I am pulling the battery replacement information - which I am then using the Advanced Options to Enumerate the values 1 and 2 to Battery OK and Battery Needs Replacing.

The thing is when I try and display this in the web interface the only options I get are to display as a Gauge when what I want to do is display the text in a basic table or something like that.

Could someone please let me know if this is possible - as I want to change several other items to the same sort of display.

The only way I'm aware of to get that onto the webpage is as I described above. Add the "Universal Device Poller Status" to the view manually via the "Admin" menu and select "Manage Views". Select the view you want to add the resource to, such as the "Node Details" page and click "edit". From there click the "+" symbol next to the column to add the resource. Expand the "Node Detail Reports - Resources that apply to a single network node" branch and select "Universal Device Poller Status". Click "Submit, then click "Done". Now the "Universal Device Poller Status" resource should show up, complete with all current UnDP values for that node when you go that that node page in NPM. This of course is predicated on the fact that we're not using device type views.

You need to add the "Universal Device Poller Status" resource to the "View" under "Manage Views" in the admin section of the web interface.

Sorry I think you misunderstand what I am trying to say, I know how to get the views into onto the device on the web page. But if it's just text that I want to show for example UPS model - and the only option I get for display is Gauge then it won't display.

Have you tried playing with the data type that it's collecting it as? This is what determines what type of data display options you have.

I'm still at a loss as to understand how you could, or why you would try to represent a textual value <noBatteryNeedsReplacing / batteryNeedsReplacing> or numerical value <1 / 2> as a radial gauge, if that's indeed what's being asked.

No, I am not suggesting that. I think he wants exactly what you suggested with your image. The problem is he is only getting Guage as a display option. I took a wild guess that this may be due to the data no being collected as the proper type for some reason. I could be wrong but I think its the data type that determines which display options you have.
