Hi folks,

So I am trying to generate a custom report for a manager. When I pick one item like say Bios date, it grays out majority of the other field.

Any way to avoid that?

The report writer is preventing you for adding data that is not related to each other. Out of curiosity, what information are you trying to include as part of the same report?

Hi,

So for example

I am doing the following (simplified as much as possible):

Nodes selections:

Vendor = cisco

vendor = HP

I want to select:

Name, Description, Service tag, (all good at this point), then I pick something like total RAM, and everything gets greyed out.

Are these network devices or servers you're trying to report on?

I'm not able to reproduce. It may be that you're choosing a similar but different field from the ones I've selected though. I would suggest sticking to the "Nodes" and "Node Current Statistics" categories. I have a feeling you might be selecting items from the "Asset Inventory" category that applies only to servers and not network devices.
