Orion 9.0 SP1 web node management

Is their a way to increase the maximum number of nodes that will load on the web node management? I find it very annoying when scrolling though 4000 nodes.

You can increase the number of nodes that load in each batch by editing \Inetpub\Solarwinds\Orion\Nodes\Controls\NodeTree.ascx. Around line 234, there's a place where it says RowsRange="25". Try increasing that number and see what works.

Can you double check that file name and location again? I am running version 9 and don't find a file by this name in that location.

I am running Orion 9.0 SP1 and I can confirm that file name and location are correct. Make sure you go to that path on the appropriate drive letter for your installation. This simple change has made it much easier to manage nodes via the website!

Hmmm. I have no path Inetpub\Solarwinds\Orion\Nodes\Controls\NodeTree.ascx.

I have the following: Inetpub\Solarwinds\Orion\Controls. But, I also do not see the NodeTree.ascx file in this location.

I find NodeTree.ascx in the following location:

Inetpub\Solarwinds\Orion\NetperfMon\Resources\NodeSummary. The file does not have 234 lines.

Not sure guys....I can see the directory and was able to change the file. I changed mine from 25 to 1000 and it works great. I have over 700 Cisco nodes and they now load in 1 screen that I can see all the nodes. I does take a little longer to load the list but once it's loaded it works like we need it to.

Someone did make the feature request to have a search field added so you can just look for a specific node without having to scroll through lists.
