Cannot export reports any more

Export in Cirrus 3.5.1 worked before, but now the following error message appears:

I have tried both, from Configuration manager and from Policy Reporting with the same result.

The only thing changed in the mean time, I can think of, is upgrade of Orion from 8.1 to 8.5 on the same server. The upgrade went flawlessly.

Is there an easier way around than suggested reinstallation?

We have not seen this issue with Cirrus 3.5.1 and Orion 8.1 or Orion 8.5. Have you tried performing a repair on the Cirrus installation?

Is there an easier way around than suggested reinstallation?

Try to register the sqldmo.dll-

first locate the sqldmo.dll file which willbe located in either the C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Commondirectory or the C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Common\SQLDMO9directory.
For Windows 2003, perform the steps below:
1. Right-click on the file.
2. Select "Open With".
3. Select "Open With" again.
4. Select the program from a list.
5. Click OK.
6. Click the browse button.
7. Browse to WINDOWS->system32.
8. Select the regsvr32.exe file.
9. Click the Open button.
10. Click OK.
11. Click OK on the successfully succeeded window.
12. Run through the Configuration Wizard

I recived the same error as tdvojmoc after applying the hotfix updates to solarwinds 8.5. I am unable to run any scheduled reports in cirrus. I followed Mark's suggestion and it did not fix the issue. If I have to reinstall which application cirrus 3.51 or solarwinds 8.5 (hotfix 1)? Is there another way to reload the Solarwinds export engine?

Also in Configuration manager the export options are missing. If I click File-Export-, the export options are missing. The File-Send To options are also missing. Also Publish to Web and Print Preview come up with the same Solarwinds Export Engine error.

I ended up to a repair of the cirrus configuration program and it fixed the error and put all options back under the File menu.

... but then the situation with wrong machine type for Cisco ISR routers (wrong machine type for Cisco ISR routers) reappeared. The trick with swdiscovery.cfg worked with rather lenghty rediscovery period. It would be nice to have the option of rediscovery on demand.
