Setting up alerts

Hi all,

I wanted to know how can I set up alerts for all hosts connected to a specific interface on our core switches. My manager would like a report generated for it and I'm a little confused on how to set it up. I tried using the guide but i just need alerts for specific devices. Thanks.

Dove-tailing with Andy's reply - you could create a group of the devices that are connected to that particular switch and use that to make the report more targeted.

There is a canned report called Historical Interface Errors. You can modify this to include errors and discards on the interfaces you specify. This doc should help as well.

Currently only a few have this option I think. I would like to do it for the interfaces that he requested. I hope that helps!
