Login Issue-Non-commercial device

Question

I am currently working with a device that displays the ">" symbol in the opening text, causing Cirrus to change states and automatically send "enable".  The device reads the string as the password and returns an "Invalid Password" and eventually times out when trying to execute a script.  My question is: is there a workaround involving the development of a custom template, or is there a setting I can change in Cirrus to ignore the ">" symbol.

Currently, Cirrus does not allow a ">" character to exist before the login prompt.  Cirrus currently reserves this character as the character that will be used in the enable level prompt.

MIBs can be edited by entering the read/write community string within Cirrus, browsing to the desired MIB, and updating the appropriate value(s).  For example, you can highlight a device in the nodes list, select MIBs > System Info, and modify the device location.  The default list of MIBs can be modified by clicking on MIBs > Add/Edit MIBs and following through the steps.

Given the current situation, that may not be an option.  Is there no way to get Cirrus to ignore the ">" symbol?  I attempted to use the "RegEx" function in the template I created, but had no success.  The way the device was created, the ideal way to configure it would be to use the snmp protocol.  Does Cirrus have RW capabilites and the ability to import custom MIBs?

My recommendation is to modify the opening text to not contain ">".  When Cirrus sees a ">" character, Cirrus thinks that the user is logged in and therefore passes the next credentials which for this device is the enable level.
