Would like to see Report Scheduler emailing reports in .xls and other formats as an option

Question

Currently RS only allows you to send an email of the generated report in HTML format - I would like the option to select any output format, in particular .xls.   This would make it easier to collate/edit/distribute the report information to my management team.

Has there been any update on this? It saves some manual work, if I could just get report writer to send PDF formats.

Already understood PDF support.  This feature request is for XLS support.  Will the next version support appending the &DataFormat=xls string to urls via Report Scheduler?
