It's really been a while.
Please I like to find out about Crystal reporting. Honestly, I have never had of it before.
Also, I like to find out its difference with the Orion Report Writer.

What sort of reports do you need to generate? Is it anything outside of what the new Orion web reporter cannot do? The Report Writer is now a legacy reporting tool

I have made use of the Orion Report Writer.
My observation is that it does not capture all that is desired in my work environment.
For example, we want to be able to generate only one report that conveys the following information about our Cisco routers:bandwidth utlization (minimum, average, and maximum) of the WAN/tunnel interfaces, Availability (minimum, average, and maximum) and/or Packet Loss, and IP SLA QoS (based on ICMP Echo) between all the branch routers and their WAN edge router.
You will agree with me that the Orion Report Writer contains different legacy reports that can do all these; but what we desire is a single report that can capture all the details aforementioned.
Another requirement is that, if obtaining a single report of what I aforementioned is possible, we do not want a human being to be generating the reports daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
We want it to be automated. For instance, I want to be able to know that at 7:00pm of every week day or on Friday of every week, I would receive auto-generated emails that contains such reports.
Please how do I go about to achieve this.

The web reporter can certainly include multiple charts and tabular data into a single report. They can be scheduled for delivery as well. The following resources should get you started
